Hotech Quality - ISO Compliance
ISO is used as the abbreviation of the words International Organization for Standardization. It was established in 1947 in Geneva / Switzerland. ISO Standards have been accepted in 162 countries around the world and are recognized and applied internationally. The establishment purpose of ISO is to create standards that will be valid all over the world and to provide global integration through these standards.
As Hotech, we know very well the importance of complying with these standards while developing innovative technologies for the digital transformation of hotels thanks to our 20 years of experience and our global collaborations. Optimization and studies for quality standards, which we started working on in this context a while ago, yielded the results and we were entitled to receive 4 different ISO certificates.
The detailed explanations of these 4 different quality certificates, which cover customer satisfaction, information security, information technology service management and business continuity, respectively, are as follows:
ISO 9001, Quality Management System, is a control system that enables the best monitoring and management of all operational processes of an organization (from the organizational structure to the satisfaction level of its customers, from the analysis of the collected data to the effective management of the processes, from internal audits to product design, from purchasing to sales). The focus of ISO9001, which aims to keep all operational processes under control, is to ensure the satisfaction of the company's customers.
ISO 27001, Information Security Management System, is a management system based on defining all information assets of an organization and determining the risk levels of these assets, analyzing these risks and carrying out risk management activities in accordance with the Plan - Do - Check - Act (PDCA) cycle. In today's world, the importance and protection of information is increasing. ISO 27001 is an international standard that sets the requirements for the highest level of security of all internal and external information an organization has.
ISO 20000, Information Technology Service Management System, is a standard that guides companies or units that provide information technology services to meet the expectations of their internal and external customers, to continuously improve and improve their status and performance, to manage their related operations and which methods they will apply and how to apply them.
ISO 22301, Social Security and Business Continuity Management System, specifies the requirements for organizations to create the necessary plans to ensure business continuity, to implement, monitor, review, maintain, protect and prepare to reduce risks, to develop a documented management system to recover from catastrophic events. At the same time, this standard is a management system standard based on the risk approach to establish, implement, monitor, review, maintain and improve business continuity.
